The virtual pet app category saw varying levels of engagement and revenue on the Android platform in Portugal throughout the first quarter of 2022. Here’s a look at the top five apps and their performance metrics.

My Talking Angela 2 experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting strong with around 7K downloads in early January and gradually decreasing to approximately 2.1K by the end of March. Revenue for this app peaked at $91 during the week of February 7, while weekly active users saw a decline from nearly 30K at the beginning of January to about 20K by the end of March.

For My Talking Tom 2, the weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at 5.3K during the first week of January and ending the quarter with around 3.4K downloads. Revenue was minimal, with a peak of $5 during the week of February 21. Active users started at around 46K and fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at approximately 40K.

My Talking Tom Friends showed a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.9K in late December and dropping to 2.5K by the end of March. Revenue had a minor peak of $23 in mid-January.
